  Mobility Concerns
The resort is very large. We’ve been looking at options for scooters for guests with mobility concerns. Please reach out to us if this applies to you. 

Water
There is a lot of information online about the drinking water in Mexico.  It is recommended you DO NOT drink or brush your teeth with faucet/tap water because it is not purified.  Not to worry, there will be plenty of bottled water provided in your room and throughout the resort.  Drinking water from pitchers and ice served at the resort will be ok to drink because it is filtered onsite and compliant to the highest level in industry sanitation standards.  As a rule, always drink and brush your teeth with bottled water.

Tipping
Tipping is not required but it is highly appreciated. While the 20% tip we are accustomed to in the US is not expected or needed, a few dollars each day to your bartender, maid, or servers is a great way to show your gratitude for their exceptional service. $2-$5 goes a long way! Both USD and Mexican Pesos are apricated by the staff. We suggest exchanging your money either at your bank stateside or at the hotel for a fee. Keep an eye out, as the exchange rate fluctuates! 

Excursions
While we have not planned any group excursions off the resort, we left Saturday open and you are more than welcome to plan an excursion on your own! We highly recommend Amstar for excursions, they operate from within the resort and can help you in planning any adventure you would like to embark on!
